Does this scenario sound familiar?
1. You think that you need to lose weight and look “perfect” in order to be loved and feel happy.
2. You start to chase happiness by trying to lose weight.
3. You feel unhappy because, let’s be honest here, dieting sucks.
4. You lose a few pounds, yet you don’t feel happy.
5. Because you have been so miserable on this diet, you decide to “treat” yourself by going off the wagon for a meal… or two…ok, three.
6. You gain the weight right back, feel unloved, unhappy and alone.
7. You go back to step one. If you have tried dieting and hated yourself for failing, you are not alone.
Good news: The book includes dozens of easy PLANT-BASED, GLUTEN-FREE, SUGAR-FREE & DAIRY-FREE recipes that will love you back!
About Alina: Alina is an award-winning, Board-Certified Health Coach, Deepak Chopra Certified Life Coach, Speaker, Detox Specialist, Chef and Creator of the #1 Best Diet in America, as selected by Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. With 14 years of experience in Health & Wellness and 25 years in Marketing and Communication, she is confident in herself, wakes up feeling happy most days, freely eats lots of butter on her toast without any guilt and teaches women how to have it all – radiant health, a fulfilling career, and a life full of sparkle. But it wasn’t always like this.
“At 15, I left my home country and a job at a $100,000,000 company that my parents wanted me to inherit. Instead, I came to the USA alone to create a life I desired to build on my own terms. I attended a Quaker school in Maryland and eventually graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York. At the age of 27, I began working in the marketing industry and became VP of Marketing for one of Washington, DC’s largest catering companies. During my tenure there, I spent my days talking about, writing about, and tasting food! From early-morning networking breakfasts to late-night cocktail receptions and galas. I barely had time to eat healthy.”
This busy lifestyle led to an unwanted extra 20 pounds, which she struggled to lose with traditional diets and an endless supply of dieting books. She also felt there was more to life than working long hours and making money. She felt she was lacking a purpose. In 2009, Alina went on an inspirational cruise to Alaska, where she met and learned from world-renowned teachers like Dr. Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay. It was during Dr. Dyer’s speech that Alina realized she wanted to serve the community. She thought that if she could solve her challenges, she could help others with the same struggles.
“Inspired by the cruise, in 2010, I enrolled to study nutrition at the world’s largest nutrition school—the Institute For Integrative Nutrition—in New York City. The experience was truly life-changing—I found a unique way to health and fell in love with the field of nutrition. However, the biggest thing I saw missing most in the health market was FUN!”
Alina noticed two crucial things: first, food is typically labeled as healthy or delicious, and second, there is a total lack of connection between nutrition and the key to a happy life. With a passion for making connections, Alina’s mission as a nutrition and life coach is to help you pursue your life passions and discover that food can be healthy, delicious, on budget, quick, and easy!
