The mission of this 35-year-old organization is to advocate for and support distance learning policy, best practices, and the use of technology across the education, business, health, and government sectors through outreach, research, and networking: usdla.org.
Before the pandemic, distance education was an important and growing industry in higher education and K-12 programs. Today, learning through Zoom and other digital platforms is a way of life.
