Feb. 20, 2023 — Shaffer Family Foundation hosts FUNraisers to thank the men and women who put their lives on the front line to help save ours
Monday Morning Magic from Inkandescent® PR + Publishing Co. — Continuing our promise to bring you love stories all month, this week we celebrate Kyle Shaffer and her husband Darren, who are on a mission.
“We created the Shaffer Family Foundation in 2022 to raise money to donate to our Local First Responders,” explains Kyle, pictured right, the sales and marketing manager for the Revelation Craft Brewing Company. “We wanted to thank the men and women who put their lives on the front line to help save ours.”
Hosting events to raise funds was a natural choice for the couple. At Revelation Craft Breweries, Kyle specializes in creating events where she hires live music and food trucks near the beaches in Delaware. Darren owns Coastal Flooring Solutions, Inc. in nearby Georgetown, DE. They became part owners of Revelation three years ago and have helped the company expand to include locations in Rehoboth Beach, Georgetown, and—from May to September—at the Beer Garden at Hudson Fields near Lewes, DE.
The couple hosted their first Rally For Our First Responders on May 21, 2022 and raised $80K.
