More about Tonya: An author, strategist, and executive leader, Tonya has more than two decades of experience spanning strategic communications, organizational leadership, business development, public service, and community engagement. Her career includes several years with the FBI, where she worked in communications and training, as well as executive and organizational leadership. She currently serves as Board Chair of the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce and founded Write Touch Publishing. Tonya holds degrees in Legal Studies and Management and a master’s degree in Strategic Communications. Her professional, educational, and lived experiences bring a distinctive perspective to her debut book, The Aftermath: What Nobody Tells Black Women About Life After Divorce.
